The spring sings to the south
New flowers and trees now grow
Shoveling away winter and death

A happy spring day
Warm and fun
Making all people good and gay
On these sunny spring days
Everyone is full of spring cheer.

This was a poem I wrote inspired by another poem out of the book: Robert Burns Selected Poems.

  1. I love the contrast between winter and spring shown here.
I found it interesting the way that spring brings forth joy and life, whilst winter brought along death.
